Since taking over the reins at IMC in August 2013, I have rebuilt the management team into a winning combination. In my opinion a good mix of professionalism, dedication, resourcefulness and most importantly a good deal of humour.
In turn, the management team have rebuilt their teams, not only to reflect the heritage of IMC over the last 100 years; but also to project what we stand for and where we want to take the company in the future.
As we are continually evolving as a business, I believe the company has adapted well to the challenges offered by our current market and are well placed for the challenges of the future.
Steve Witt – Managing Director
Steve joined the company in 2001 when the headquarters was located in Hertfordshire.
During the relocation of IMC to Wrexham, Steve was a key part in transferring the production and Engineering element of the company. After relocating to Wrexham Steve took over the Engineering Department before being made the Technical Director. Steve was appointed Managing Director in July 2013.
During his tenure as Managing Director Steve has lead an almost total restructuring of IMC, driving forward sales and increasing profitability by reducing overheads through investment and departmental improvements.
Prior to IMC Steve worked providing heavy industrial turnkey heating and thermal fluid solutions. In his spare time he likes to clay pigeon shoot, walk and is a passionate Rugby supporter.
Gary has been part of the IMC team for almost 10 years as the Product Manager. Gary’s background from such diverse fields as aerospace and medical equipment has massively influenced the development of a wide range of IMC’s equipment, enabling IMC to remain at the forefront of the industry.
Gary is responsible for both the internal and external sales teams that now cover well over 100 countries, ensuring that the support given to our customer locally is matched across the globe.
Gary makes a good point about why we all love working within this industry; “It’s both the people in the industry and the people I work with that makes this by far my most enjoyable and rewarding role to date.”
Gary is the self professed IMC cocktail expert, and avid Liverpool supporter.
Customer Services Manager
Jo joined IMC in 2006 and heads up the multi-lingual Customer Services Team who between them cover our worldwide customer base.
Jo and the team co-ordinate all aspects of customer service from quotation through to shipping for both finished goods and spare parts whilst liaising closely with our Production Team to ensure the achievement and continuous improvement of service levels are reached.
Prior to IMC, Jo has worked in the automotive industry and spent 14 years in logistics at LEGO. Jo speaks German, German / Swiss and French languages fluently whilst also a smattering of Italian and Spanish. Her customer services team also speak Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German and Welsh
Jo is a keen supporter of the local rugby league team and on occasion, has been known to tread the boards in musical theatre productions.
Joined the company in 2015, Eddy is responsible for new product development, product support and service departments.
Prior to IMC Eddy worked at Morrisons Manufacturing as an Engineering Manager responsible for site maintenance and high speed meat manufacturing equipment.
Eddy provides technical support and steers his team to provide our customers with engineering solutions.
Eddy is a big Rugby supporter whilst also following Manchester City football club.
Joined IMC Croxley Green in 2000 as a production team leader. When IMC relocated to Wrexham Ian also made the move north and took charge of the production facility in August 2013.
Since taking control of IMC’s production facility, Ian and his team have vastly improved lead times and production quality realising a record product reliability level.
Prior to IMC Ian worked at TRW primarily supplying the automotive sector.
Ian coaches boys and girls football in his local community, and when he gets the time supports his hometown Luton football club.
